The average cost for data recovery with simple problems such as file system, controller electronics or light damage to the media surface, usually lies between:
780 - 1.400 euro, which equals to about 5 - 8 hours of work.
- Category B
More advanced cases such as erasure and complete overwriting of data and cases that require access to clean room facilities such as read head exchange or cleaning and polishing of the media surface usually cost between:
1.400 - 1.800 euro, which equals to about 7 - 10 hours of work.
- Category C
Very advanced cases including hard disk motor exchange and severe media surface damage, requiring access to a clean room OR recovery of data from encrypted disk drives usually cost between:
1.800 - 2.400 euro, which equals to about 2 - 3 days of work.

Cost for data recovery from RAID Array can vary a lot depending on several factors:
- Number of drives in a RAID Array.
