Aurora have their own, very well equipped, HI-tech laboratories near Stockholm in Sweden. Aurora has also developed a range of advanced data recovery software for internal use. Consequently, Aurora NEVER sends their customers disk drives to any third party for any reason whatsoever.

Since we possess all the necessary competence, we NEVER have to send our clients' hard drives to any third party, with the security risk, unnecessary delay and cost that it brings.
Aurora guarantees that Your confidential data stays within our company and is stored with absolute security and discretion. We also perform 'Data deletion' or 'Data destruction' which means erasing sensitive or classified information from hard drives.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We recover lost data following problems with a crashed hard disk drive, malfunctioning RAID arrays and other damaged storage devices. Our usual scenarios are Data Recovery following a hard disk drive crash, accidental formatting or erasure. We also regularly recover data following mechanical damage, water damage or flooding, lightning damage and even serious fires.
Not surprisingly, Aurora also performs Data Forensics on an almost daily basis. In many cases as a result of deliberate sabotage, cases of fraud, clandestine or criminal activities, and in many cases to obtain evidence of the transmission of company secrets to competitors.

varies from case to case. We do NOT have fixed prices since every data recovery case is quite unique.
The actual time will depend on a number of factors:
1. The nature and extent of the defect
2. If spare parts are required (donator)
3. The time required to extract data
4. The storage capacity of the drive

ARE WE USUALLY SUCCESSFUL?
In well over 90% of all incidents we have been most successful in assisting clients with data recovery from damaged hard disk drives. In many such cases, our customers own IT departments, and even some well known American compeditors, have considered the hard disk damage as irrecoverable!
It is important to remember that in many cases following a serious hard disk crash some files may be corrupt or even completely destroyed. In such cases, adjustments or repair of the previous Windows installation will probably be required.

We will handle your hard disk on first come first serve bases.
In practice this usually means that the recovery will commence within 2-4 workdays.
STATUS: 'URGENT'
If you have chosen recovery service level 'URGENT'
Recovery work is normally conducted during normal office working hours.
We begin procedures to secure and recover your information within the first hour following reception of your damaged hard disk drive.
We inform you of our progress in accordance with your instructions on the recovery order form.
STATUS: 'HIGHEST PRIORITY'
If you have chosen recovery service level 'HIGHEST PRIORITY'
We continue Data Recovery work until midnight weekdays and during weekends as necessary.
We brief a small team for the recovery project before the damaged hard disk drive actually arrives at Aurora.
We commence the recovery procedures without delay once your hard disk arrives at our labs.
We also determine the exact technical characteristics of your specific hard disk and obtain a 'donator' disk drive if necessary.
We will inform you of our progress in accordance with your instructions on the recovery order form.
